Goals achievements
In a society, I think it is best to have goals that aim to make the life of its citizens better. Such as providing quality education, accessible healthcare, and equal opportunities for all regardless of background. At the same time, societies must strive for sustainable development and poverty reduction as well. A society has definite challenges it can work together on.
Yes, I think goals are vital for everyone. The sad truth with no goal, many people in life have a lack of direction and motivation. Goals provide direction and a benchmark for how far we’ve come. An example of this, is that a student who has no academic goals will fall off track and end up slacking, On the other hand a student who has targets set to help guide them will be more focused and work harder through school. Basically, goals are the maps that guide our decisions and actions during life.
I have used it against people in their early to mid-twenties, who tend to be a blend of personal and professional goals. At this time, as a young adult, most are concerned with finishing their education and finding a steady job that will pay well or occasionally opening up their own business. Some also has their life objectives like become financially freedom, travel around the world or some new skills. Also relationships and wanting to have a family, lots of people in my age group start thinking about stuff like that.
Indeed, in my opinion, it is indeed needful to help the children with good directions. Kids don\’t fully understand how the world works at a young age, and given the information there to them they may not have the skills yet to make wise choices. However, another huge factor is how advice is dispensed. Adults should gently guide children to think and decide for themselves, instead of following strict orders. And this is how kids get both the confidence and judgment from a young age.
From personal ambitions to post-modern influence, young people today never have just one angle when it comes to their goals. At home, many aspire to form great families, own beautiful homes, achieve financial freedom, or build a startup. From a personal perspective some of the more common goals others have — travelling across the world, staying in shape, meeting people range. I also see lots of youth today orienting their goals in much more positive social and environmental directions, which is truly heartening.
Setting goals — preferably clear and concrete but realistic measurable ones — is perhaps the first and primary thing you should do in my opinion. Once this is done, one must work out the action plan in a chronological way with concrete deadlines and milestones. It needs consistency and discipline — not probably the type of success can arrive in a solitary day. Moreover, it is essential that individuals embrace learning from their mistakes and change direction when need be. It is also important to look for motivated people to help keep yourself accountable, because they will help you stay on track and long-term.
It is extremely open to debate. Though I fully appreciate parents having the best intentions for their children, I don’t think they should force them to pursue their own goals. Kids need absolute freedom to explore their interests and passions. Of course, parents can help with the process by offering opportunities for children to try different things and see what they actually like doing. Which ties into the guiding and not controlling principle — when it came to our child’s future desires, parents should be mentors, not deciders.
Children are believed to begin developing simple goal-directed actions around the ages of three or four. At such an age, their ambitions are what you would expect to be incredibly basic. When they are older and go to school, their ambition will be more sophisticated. A realistic response would be something that takes place over years and may come to fruition after several cycles of schooling have completed — by which time a child is usually entering their teenage years, when they begin to contemplate more serious long-term goals related to formal education or their hobbies and career endeavors. Goal-setting Then, is therefore an organic and progressive process of human growth.
